JBC Tools Touch Screen Soldering Station

“Innovation, efficiency and reliability are the key features of a wide range of products which have been designed to satisfy the most demanding requirements of professional solder.” - JBC Tools
After a meeting with JBC Tools this week, we were informed that JBC will be releasing a TFT Soldering Station. We guarantee this station will be unlike anything you have ever seen.
We’re really excited about it’s release and we wanted to share our excitement with our readers. So, with that… let’s talk features:
The new TFT station will allow access to the menus by touching the screen to change parameters, ensuring total soldering control! From what we know, the 3.5 inch screen allows the user to reproduce videos with a very high quality, as well as microscope images via USB, featuring graphics, and more.
The advanced microprocessor is going to be completely personalized to fit each users needs.
For additional information (which you should definitely read) check out the TFT Station’s.pdf document from JBC’s new website. (Yes, that’s right they have also made a bunch of changes to their website.)
Wondering WHEN this marvel is going to be released? Well, for now we’re not sure. But, you can subscribe to or our newsletter to find out. The newsletter is monthly, so we won’t jam up your inbox (we wouldn’t want to do that!). Not to mention, you can unsubscribe at any time. (Though, we doubt you will want to). So what are you waiting for?
Oh and one more thing! As far as subscribing goes, don’t forget to choose your manufacturer! We like to keep our readers happy by sending out content that is only relevant to their interests.
Again, we will be sending the release of JBC Tools, TFT Soldering Station as soon as technically possible. For now, hang in there.
Don’t Flake on your Choice of Flux!
When it comes to Electronics Manufacturing nothing ranks higher in importance than soldering. After all, electronics assembly is simply, “the production of soldering connections.” For this reason, choosing the right type of Flux for your production assembly needs is critical.
In an earlier post a few weeks ago, we mentioned that Flux is essential in the removal of oxide residue. With the exception of gold, all metal surfaces oxidize. Thus, we will repeat: Oxides must be completely removed before you even think of picking up that iron! Now, let’s discuss this a bit further…
While, yes metals (not gold) exposed to air will undergo oxidization - the type of flux used in the removal of residue is critical. To demonstrate, take a look at the picture provided below:

Interesting, no? So, with all of this said - if your wondering, want to be sure, are unsure, think you are unsure, but might be sure…contact us and we’ll be sure that the flux you’re using is the most reliable and cost effective for your electronics assembly needs.
